"The telephone sales person misrepresented some of the product and its coverage functions. The telephone salesperson fully understood which package option I wanted but sent a work order for the most expensive package. The installer was a nice fellow and punctual but 'overly' tenacious in his effort to upsale add-on products. Installer improperly installed alarm on door that was broken into days before by burglars and was non functional. Upon complaining about the sales misrepresentation the supervisor agreed to provide eight (8) window breaks at no charge but then only authorized the installer to install open window alarms which are essential useless as very few windows are broken in this area by burglars for entry -- of the 30 or so in the immediate area not one window was broken for entry. Based upon my personal sales and installation experiences, I would not recommend ADT to anybody! "

"I have had nothing but frustration with ADT. Our local rep is not knowledgeable, took weeks to get the system working. We still have persistent communication issues, but the monitoring service is apparently unaware. I wonder if the system works at all. Folks do not return calls and do not show up at the times they commit to. I wish we could get out of our contract and go with someone else."
