"I am extremely disappointed with ADT service. Since agreeing to have the system installed every detail has been a painful experience. First, we it took almost two weeks to have the installer come out due to ADT unable to turn on the account. The previous renters didn't cancel their account so we were unable to establish ours. After speaking with a Customer Service Rep who deals with complaints we we promised a reimbursement for the installation cost ($100) if we agreed to go ahead with the installation. My wife and I emailed our lease agreement proving our right to live in the home to ADT. We have yet to receive our reimbursement! Second, the installer came and spent 5 hours installing the equipment only to tell us he could not test the system because the account was not valid yet, due again to the previous renters not canceling their account. At that point we decided that this is not the company that we want to work with. To top it all off, the actual home owners were unaware the the previous tenants had a system installed. I would have thought that ADT would verify ownership prior to installing anything. I guess getting the money from the unsuspecting sucker (customer) is more important. I would never recommend this company to anyone."
